What a year it has been.  We are hoping to get a better system down for updating this blog!  Megan is waiting for her mission call.  It should arrive this week.  We have all guessed where whe is going and she has over 100 guesses from family and friends hoping to win the prize!  Megan finished school on May 7 and on May 9 started babysitting the Ellis boys so their parents could go to Rome.  She had lots of help from our family but discovered that motherhood is hard work!  The rest of the kids finished on May 25.  Mom still has to go back for a work day.  Mom taught a class to 2nd 3rd and 4th graders this year called 21st Century Learning.  3rd Grades final assignment was to use collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and communication to make a video entitled 3rd Grade in 3 Words!  Here is a link to the final project! 

Megan is Leaving for College - Bummer!

I just barely fininshed packing for my grand road trip to Utah tomorrow. Maybe I shouldn't leave things like this to the last minute!!! I've decided that I am not ready to go back.....I haven't had enough of a summer break!

New Driveway

We are trying to do one or two big things a year to update our house. This year, we decided to pour a new driveway. The old one was very damaged, cracked and the grade was toward the house. We also had wooden steps that were two narrow and in poor condition. We love the new look, especially the stairs!

Camping with Ellis's

We went camping in Buena Vista with the Ellis's! We rented a cabin and they brought the boys with their camper. We panned for gold, swam at Turquoise Lake, ran the river, rode bicycles, ate yummy food which Heather shopped and planned for us and had a great time! Good food, family and friends! Jake and Megan didn't get a lot of time off this summer so we were so glad that they were able to get this weekend off to go with us to the mountains!

Elizabeth's Summer

I did Mathnasium it's fun.I do piano it's fun . I had a playdate with Annie for 3 days. First I went to the rec center with her.next she came over. Then I went to the fountain to see their restront. I am going to have a birthday.

sup,

So I was told to do this blog every week and I'm really not sure why I have to, but in order to continue my Psych marathon I must bestow upon the world a glimse of my mastery of the english language. Today I went to work and taught swimming lessons to little children which is always interesting. I then waited for my private lesson that didn't show up and came home and ate food. That was my day and I am frustrated with the amount of AP summer homework that I have due that I have put off. In hindsight I shouldn't have done that.
